Listening Session

7/21/2024

*   There is much to do, my children.       Be still, draw close to Me and listen.             Make room for Me in your life.

*   Know that I am with everyone, if they but ask for my presence.     My presence is so great; they can't miss it.     They need my eyes to see as you see, and ears to hear as you hear, and hearts to love as you love.

*   Ears are open to hear.     Hearts to receive.     I am giving freedom and speaking peace.    The mountains are rising in anticipation.     Soldiers stand erect in the power of God.     There are many who are doing My bidding.      Stand on that mountain and proclaim truth.     I take care of the hearing.    You take care of the speaking.     I am the foundational truth.      Proclaim liberty, justice, peace, revelation.      The dominion of darkness is leaving because you pray.     The foundational truths have been laid.     I am speaking peace to those who seek Me.     They are awaiting My glory.     Hope is being given.      Lives restored.

*   I am close to each of you.      Bear witness to me in your life.       Point people to me.

Ask, why are you chasing things that don't satisfy.      Tell them I say:     Come to me.

Let them know I love them and only I can satisfy them.

*   There is nothing I won't do for my people.

A Testimony Of What God Did For Me:

This past week I experienced a very bad situation with one of my cars.     I went to an auto dealership to have the normal routine maintenance done and to have the badly worn tires replaced. As this car is equipped with a lug lock on each of the wheels, I was asked to provide the key socket so the dealership could remove the wheels from the car and replace the tires.    I looked in the normal location where I kept the socket but it was not there.    A couple of months earlier I had picked up a nail in one of my tires and had to have that tire repaired at another location. It now appeared they had not put the key socket back in my car.     The dealership said they would not be able to replace my tires until I could provide the key socket because they would not be able to remove the wheels from my car.      They went ahead and performed the routine maintenance and returned the car to me unable to replace the tires.

I then went to the other location where I had that tire repaired and explained to them that it appeared my key socket had not been put back in my car after that tire repair service they did for me.     They showed me several key sockets they had available for use but none of them worked on the lug locks on my car.     I now began to have extreme anxiety over this situation because due to the wear on the tires, something had to be done or the car would become unusable in the not-too-distant future.

I then went home extremely upset.    I started searching in the car for the missing key socket just in case it was returned to me but was not put back where I usually stored it.    I remembered asking St. Anthony for his help in finding the missing key socket.    But after much searching in my car and even in my garage, (in case I did something with it), I did not find it.      The anxiety I had was becoming even stronger because I was faced with the following thoughts:

1).   “Could anything be done to have the wheels removed?”

2).   “Was the car going to have to be disassembled in some way to get the wheels removed?”      3).   “Due to the age of the car, will it be worth the price to have this done?”

That evening as I continued to worry and reflect on this situation, these words from the Lord came to me;     “I got this.”    “I will take care of it.”    I simply responded;   “Okay, Thank you Lord, I sure can use your help with this.”     This did make feel a little better but I was still unable to get a good night’s sleep.

Sometime during the following day while I was thinking about what the Lord would do to help me in this situation, the name of a local tire service center suddenly came to my mind. As it was a bit late in the day, I did not go to that tire store at that time.      The next day I went to that tire service center and told an assistant that I needed to have my tires replaced but that I no longer had access to the key socket for the lug locks on my car.     He went out with me to examine the situation.     When I showed him the type of lug lock I had on the car, he stated that it appeared that it may be difficult to have them removed, but he stated they would go ahead and work on it and let me know if there was a problem.     I then told him that if they were able to remove the lug locks from my car, I asked him to tell the mechanic to not reinstall the locks and then I gave him 4 spare regular lug bolts to replace them with.      Feeling a little relieved, I sat down in the waiting room and waited for them to start working on my car.     About an hour later I felt compelled to get up and see if they had started to work on my car.     I went to the service bay window and there my car was in the very first service bay next to the window.    It was partially jacked up and I saw the service mechanic working to loosen the lug lock on one of my wheels.      He was using some type of device to force it onto and over the lug lock and then used a power device that loosened and removed the lug lock.      He then went to the other wheels and did the same thing and was able to remove the lug locks on each of the wheels.      A sense of peace immediately came upon me as I went back to my seat and waited for them to finish replacing the tires on my car.      I was able to leave the facility with new tires and no lug locks on my car.       The sense of peace and thanksgiving that I now had was overwhelming!      Obviously the anxiety was completely gone!      On my way home I stopped by my parish and spent some time in front of the tabernacle as I experienced a sense of complete peace and comfort that is not typical in my life.      I was just totally amazed and thankful at what God had just done for me.

My Comment About This Testimony:

It was my intention to give this testimony to tell on God.     To tell you about the good things he can do in our daily lives and how he can do them.      This testimony shows the importance of taking the time to just be still and listen for anything God has to say to you.     Pay attention to that sudden thought that just appears in your mind while you are in a quiet time and seeking assistance with some need or concern in your life.      Then be aware that God can work through others in your life to take care of what you ask him for.      God is truly amazing and can work in ways that we may not even be aware of.

Right after giving this testimony at this prayer meeting I received the following words from God:

*   I am your friend.

A Prayer In Response:

May your words, Lord Jesus, abide in us and accomplish that for which it is sent.

*   My Grace is amazing and I pour it out on those I love.       I love this group.      I am with you and changing you.

*   I am beginning a new work in each of you.      It is My touch of grace in your souls.
